Le Angelique Curling Wand Review

I have been looking for a Curling Wand for a long time and I could never find one in Sydney. Curling wands are clipless irons that comes with a glove so you don't burn your hands and it looked so easy to use, creating effortless curls or waves in no time.
When I found Le Angelique(American Company that ships internationally) I was a little hesitant to buy it at first as there wasn't many reviews about them but I took a chance and ordered the Curling Star 3 in 1 Set (That's how badly I wanted one!)

When I received the package it was dusty and came with millions of tiny scratches. It looked like the product had been sitting in the stockroom for months before it got sent to me! (I pulled the pamphlets to the front so you guys can see)
But despite the bad impression of the packaging, they were kind enough to send me some freebies. Mirror/brush compact and a hair gem strip(worth $29.99 on Le Angelique website).
So the product comes with 3 different size barrels to create your curls, a heat protective glove and a main bottom part of the wand which you plug into the power outlet.
For the main question, does it work? is it as easy as it looks? The answer is YES I rate this curling wand set 8 out of 10. It's so quick and simple to use, the curls stay bouncy and in place for hours, even days. Only downside for me is that I wish there was a thicker wand in this pack, more differentiated sizes. But over all I'm so glad I bought this product. Couldn't be more happier!

Thrift Shops in Sydney

When I first went thrifting in Sydney I was expecting to find lots of vintage goods,
worn in blouses, high waisted pants and skirts but sadly that wasn't the case.
Not saying you can never find good pieces but you'd have to look very carefully and
have plenty of time to browse through the shop, some what like a treasure hunt
and when you do find a piece you like it feels like a huge achievement,
which then the whole experience turns really exciting! I guess thats why people get hooked on thrifting.
Here is what I found so far:
Brand new Sleeveless Lola vs Harper shirt still with tag $6 / Tight -fitting Grey Metalicus maxi Skirt $6 / Pastel sweater no brand $12

*Styled with two pieces together and Body chain from Diva. Total outfit price roughly $27!
*Styled with Wrangler white shorts and Rubi rabbit heels

RSPCA - Adopting kittens

Dennis and I, both have grown up with loving pets. We have had pets from dogs, cats, birds, fishes to turtles!
Now, it's been a while since we had little fluff balls running around and we missed having a little friend. So we started looking into introducing a new member into our family. It was no surprise to us that buying a pet from a breeder or a pet shop will send us beyond broke with each puppy and kitten priced well over $1,000.

After searching the web inside out, visiting countless places and almost getting scammed by one kitten seller. We came across RSPCA, this place was heaven.
We stepped into the kittery and was melted by their adorableness immediately, we couldn't resist and ended up adopting two domestic kittens. Mitzy (10 weeks old) and Ponyo (8 weeks old).
It was the best decision we made, instead of buying from a pet store it really does make a difference to adopt abandoned pets. They are so affectionate and really needs a place to call home. We felt good, helpful and heart warming to bring these 2 babies home.
 Mitzy (10 weeks old/Female) & Ponyo (8 weeks old/Male)
Now we have 2 fluff balls running up and down, every corner of the house. It's so lively! Dennis and I can't seem to keep up but we lovee them to bits! (:
Prevention of cruelty to animals, you can help too!

Coastal Scents Make up Review

I am a little late on this trend but yesterday I finally decided to purchase some products from Coastal Scents. It's an American Company in Florida and I have heard so many good things about their cosmetics so I thought I would give them a go since I wanted to get a little more creative with my make up.

Here is what I bought:
Eyeshadow - 120 Palette Three $29.95 discounted promotional price $19.95

Concealer - Camo Quad Color Corrector $7.95
The mint green shade counteracts redness or pinkness caused from rosacea, blemishes, or capillaries around the nose and cheek areas.
The pale yellow shade is used to conceal black, blue, or purple imperfections such as bruises.
The lavender shade can be used to neutralize areas with excessive yellow pigmentation and corrects olive skin tones.
The sky blue shade counteracts orange tones typically caused from uneven or excessive tanning or self-tanning.

Highlighter - Icy Rose sample for $0.49,  Shimmery, pale pink hue that adds luminosity

Make up Brush - Classic Detail Mini Synthetic brush, Classic Shadow Medium brush. Both  $2.49

Coastal Scents make ups are known to be highly pigmented, meaning really good colour pay off and sturdy consistency. (So you don't have to worry about your make up disappearing with your sweat and what not! Trust me this happened to me number of times...)

I think the pricing is really impressive too, 120 eye shadow colours for $19.95? Now that's an offer I don't wanna miss! But I was a little put off by the shipping and handling cost to Australia, $18.40
My order subtotal went from $33.40 to $51.80! I did suck it up and made the purchase because it would be much more expensive to buy similar products in Priceline or in department stores in Sydney.

Sydney Pole Dancers

Okay, so I started pole dancing. I know what your thinking.
A little too 'out there' and scandalous? Thinking of Kings Cross and sleazy clubs? Probably looking at the picture to the left and thinking "Oh my god, why would you do that?"
but I have to tell you I LOVE POLE DANCING!

Don't let the pole dancer stereotypes fool you, this does not involve skimpy string bikinis and fat guys throwing money at you.
When I found out that Pole dancing is the new body hardening, confidence boosting, fitness activity I had to try it out myself. I found a Pole Studio near by Chatswood (Studio Exclusive Pole dancing Tuition) and I went for a trial class one day. Feeling nervous and not sure of how everyone would treat me, I sheepishly but bravely stepped inside and instantly all my worries were washed away!
Nice spacious environment, very comforting, friendly smiles and really nothing to worry about. It's just like a dancing studio but with poles! I immediately signed up for the next term. I would recommend this studio hundred times and over. It's just so much fun and it gives you a serious work out (My body ached for days after that trial class, it was only 45 minutes and I enjoyed it, can you believe it? A work out you can enjoy! Now that's amazing)
So I suggest you girls try it out too! Go on, Don't be scared!

Sheinside & Romwe Comparison & Review

With these two viral companies everywhere on the internet/youtube right now I could be wrong but I have a feeling that Sheinside and Romwe is the same company. They come off as competitors but they are both located in the same area called Shenzhen in China and they are both advertising via Youtube by sending youtubers their products. Same free shipping world wide and LiveChat Help/Online Help in both websites and both companies don't seem to speak english much.

I have ordered from Sheinside before, I was mesmerised by their range of clothing and everything looked so promising, so there I was typing away my credit card number. But let me just say with all the waiting, trying to figure out what was happening with my order and their ridiculous exchange policies I was not happy. After I sent them an complaint email, Sheinside did offer me a 30% discount code but I never used it.
I just did not want to go through it all again.
So then when I turned to Romwe, it was like a nightmare flash back. Everything looked familiar! I did ask the Live chat help lady if they were the same company as Sheinside, she just replied 'No' and when I told her both websites and business structure looks very similar she just quit the chat. uhh...rude much? Well. Bad customer service from both companies, I don't recommend either of the businesses. If any of you had any positive experiences from these companies please let me know, I would love to read about it!
